Default Lowering my 60' times.....

Finally got a chance to take my car to the track and have some work to do. Ran a 13.01 @ 115. Had a 2.225 60 foot. I was running too much air and didn't heat my tires up much but with the car just getting together and no trailer I didn't want to brake something. Also my shifts were not the fastest and shifted around 5,500 instead of 6,250/6,500.

That being said I am thinking I need some advice on dropping my 60. My suspension mods include founders double adj lower control arms, PHB, tunnel mount torque arm, 35mm rear sway bar. I am running a moser 9" with a spool and 35 spline axles 3.89 gear. Would dropping tire pressure (MT ET streets 275 50 15) and heating them up better really drop my 60's that much?

Any advice would be appreciated thanks guys.

What spring rates and shocks are you running?

Factory springs and shocks both front and rear.

Changing shocks should make a huge difference. I'd look into double adj. for the rear for the ability to adj. compression and rebound individually.and possibly at minimum a set of rebound adj. for the front.
