Default Help identify these rear lower control arms. UPDATE:fixed and installed

Bought them off a friend, the bushings are worn so he got new arms, they were on his Trans Am when he bought it, he thought they were Spohn but looking at them online there arms use smaller 1 1/4 tube, these measure 1 3/4 but I have 3 coats of tremclad hammer tone so there probably closer to 1 5/8 like the BMR. I emailed BMR 2 days ago asking what size there bushing tubes are and haven't herd back. Tube ends measure 1.76" ID, there are no numbers on the old bushings, the metal sleeve is 3/4" OD.

Where did you send the e-mail to? I haven't received anything.
Those are not our arms, as our use 1-5/8" .120 wall tubing for the ends where the bushings go

Those don't look like ours. We use 1.75" OD with a .120" wall bushing end. Those look like 2.00" OD.

Thanks for the quick reply on here and email. I'll measure the OD of the tube and wall size this evening.

OD of the tube ends is 2.020", wall measures .125" and ID is 1.765. I'm guessing the paint is .005" thick so OD is 2.010" and the wall is .120". Worst case Ontario I'll weld a 1.75"x .120 sleeve inside the tube end and use bushings from Founders or some other universal bushings.

Energy Suspension makes 1.76" OD bushings but I feel they will be too loose as they recomend a .020" over side for a proper fit and preload.

I still have a pair for sale, with Energy Suspension bushings in them. The listing is a little old, so it might be a few pages back, but it's in the classifieds, here at LS1Tech...........

Well I ended up sleeving the bushing ends with 1 3/4 .120 Wall DOM and getting Energy Suspension bushings for 1.510 ID sleeves. Welded and squared up the ends and painted em black hammer tone to match my BMR TA and PHB
