Default Spring rate question

I'm running a #275 spring on my da strange shocks. I believe my car is roughly 3,000. Can't tell you exactly what all four corners are.

I've adjusted the shock more then halfway up, maybe 3/4 the way up and it doesn't look like it raises the front end anymore. Do I need a stiffer spring? Could a lightweight spring cause this??

Thanks! Just fyi is only track driven.

How is the car working as far as launch wise? 275 is not a bad spring rate for a lightweight track only car. If you are just trying to get the ride height raised can you go to a taller spring. For instance, if you have a 12" spring on there now, you could go to a 14" of the same rate. The car will work the same, but you will gain ride height without having the adjuster so far up

The car launches fine, no issues. I do need a anti roll to square it up but besides that no issues. I'm already running a 14" spring (sp14250). Reason I'm trying to raise it is when I hit the brakes on the top end the front is catching the beams.

Think a 275 is enough, or do I need a #300? I still would like it to leave with the wheels up.

If you are already on a 14" spring, then it may be time to step up to a pair of 14" 300# springs to get it where you want
