Default Brake problem...

2001 Z28 vert m6, my brakes work great under normal driving but when at high speed stops my pedal gets hard and will not stop the car. Not a good feeling at all. Car mods are hot cam, Lt , tune. 400 rwhp. Surely it's not because of the cam, kind of a small cam I thought?

My bet is rotors and pads. Check your brake fluid also.

If the brake pedal is hard I would imagine it's a vacuum/brake booster issue. If your brakes were fading and the pedal got soft I would say you need better pads/fluid.
Is the cam new?
