I'm looking to buy some 20's for my '07 Impala SS and lower it. I had a set a few months ago but my passenger side rims/tires were ruined by a huge pot hole at night. With those, I had 255 width tires and had a tiny bit of rub on my back passenger wheel. I believe the wheels were 20x8 with a +40 to 42 offset. Now I want to get a new set of 20's and lower it as well. What are some lowering kits/springs combos with wheel/tire specs you '06-'09 Impala SS guys used that have ZERO rub issues?

 

I highly doubt you are going to get any feed back on this forum, in my 4 or so years here, I have yet to see anyone that has an IMP SS and is modifying them on this site. might want to try an impala forum.

 

There's an LS4 section on here, but it's pretty deserted. Still has good info though.

At one time, Eibach made a lowering spring set, for the B-Bodies. I installed them on a '93 Caprice LTZ that used to be in our "family fleet".....
