Default 5th gen ZL1 brakes on a 4th gen Camaro

So I got ahold of a complete set (front/rear, rotors & calipers) of 5th gen ZL1 brakes at a local junkyard, I am trying to put them on my 1999 Camaro. Currently running a 19/20 wheel setup. What all is needed in order to get these to work? Or is it even possible?

I have seen some people use the Gen 2 CTSV calipers and as far as I know the calipers are the same thing. Appreciate any help

I've read that you will need to take the rotors to a machine shop to have the center bore from 70.3 mm to 70.6 mm I THINK. Fact check that with the search bar. I don't think the ZL1 calipers will bolt up to the 4th Gen and I don't think anyone makes any brackets for that yet. So you might have to use CTS-V calipers (4 or 6 piston since you have big enough wheels) or Z06/ZR1 calipers with a conversion bracket. But the limiting factor with your wheels will be how close the back of the spokes come to the caliper. I'm pretty sure you can use 5th gen brake pads with the CTS-V calipers too. You'll probably be able to sell your ZL1 calipers easily.

Do these by up differently than the standard 5th gen SS calipers? There is plenty of guys running 2010 rotors and calipers. Only mods needed were boring the hub hole on the rotors and drilling out the factory spindle holes and tapping them for the new calipers (SS calipers have larger mounting bolts than the ctsv calipers, but are the same caliper other than that.) I can't imagine the zl1 brakes would mount any differently.

Looks like the fronts mount that way, the rears if I am not mistaken are the same ones as on the front of the SS. What I have heard is you need to run a smaller rotor (IE C6 Z06 or something along those lines) I will keep you guys posted, probably start the actual install next week

I run V2 6 piston calipers in the front. The swap is extreamly easy for those.

ZL1 I believe requires a bracket.

Do you happen to know what kind of lines I need? They have the stock ZL1 lines but I am not sure they will work.
(Also, as far as I know ZL1 and V2 calipers are the same thing)
