Default Front shock boot/bellow orientation

2000 TA, ls1, m6

Installing new from shock and springs and replacing everything since the stock springs and shocks are rusted and being such a pita to take apart. New everything from the mount down.

Anyway, I got replacement shock boot/bellow with bump stop (moog K90462) and they appear to mount in an odd fashion, as the narrow end of the bump stop points up towards the top of the shock and and mounts this way on the top of the shock shaft..

..But the actual boot/bellow hangs below it leaving the top of the bump stop exposed. I dont it can be turned upside down either as there's nothing to hold the bump stop on the shaft if reversed. Does this look correct? I just want to do a sanity check to make sure this is right before installing these? This looks bizzare compared to stock, I believe even the directions show it this way.
