Default How to prep a rod/poly panhard bar for install?

I've got an adjustable PHB waiting to go into my car, I just need to grease it first. For the poly end, I just use marine grease and put it on, right?

And I saw something before about BMR recommending using a graphite lube in the rod end to avoid noise/wear, and was wondering if anyone can recommend a type of graphite lubricant. I assume the dry stuff, just spray it on and work it in. If I'm wrong, please correct me, I don't wanna ruin good parts.
Thank you!

For the poly end, use a fully synthetic grease and pump it in through the grease fitting after install. It should only take 3-4 pumps and you will see the grease come out through the ends of the bushings. Thats how you know you have enough.

As for the rod end, there are 2 ways we like to recommend to keep them alive.
You can use either a motorcycle chain lubricant/protector spray like is offered by Amsoil and a few other companies
Or there is a company that makes rod end protective boots. You can apply a spray type lubricant (even the before mentioned if you would like for double assurance) and add the boot on to to prevent any dirt or contamination getting into the joint and damaging the teflon lining

Should the synthetic grease be marine type? Or will any work?

So I got Mobil 1 synthetic grease, and Blaster chain and cable lube with Teflon in it, which was the only thing similar to motorcycle chain lube

Only thing worth using.

Energy Suspension Formula 5 Prelube

Of course what would that company know as they do offer the highest quality polyurethane products available today and why we use them exclusively with our product.

It is indeed the best in the business. That is why we include it with many of our parts as well

I've already got the bar in. Right now I just need to adjust it. I've actually used that stuff before(car was totaled not even a month after install of parts so I can't speak for longevity), and I'm assuming it works well based on the fact it took me 20 minutes to get it off of my hands using Dawn, Gojo, and a brillo pad

We carry tubes of Super Lube that fit a standard grease gun. Alternatively, any local auto parts store should have it. Go to the chassis grease section and look for one labeled as fully synthetic. Brand is not so much of an issue as making sure it is fully synthetic. A petroleum based grease will break down the poly
