Said another way, if you are looking at new upper mounts to gain the geometry change option AND you are running the coilovers, then it makes sense to get the ones with the coil-over specific mount. If you get the "normal" type mounts you can still run the coilovers but if you wanted to ever go back to a normal shock mount setup, you can do that too.
Was just wondering if there were any added benefits other than the adjustability and ease of install. This is the first car I'm modifying to handle well as I an used to just straight line racing. Want to do it right the first time lol

How are these working out for you after owning them for awhile? Anyone use these UMI / Afco coilovers at the track with good 60 ft times?

The shocks themselves work awesome. We just got a testimonial yesterday from a guy in the Michigan region who won his local autocross and track day. With that being said, these aren't for drag racing or cutting a good 60ft. They are high rebound control tie down shocks for handling applications.

For drag racing we recommend contacting us at support@umiperformance.com for a Viking Triple or Crusader recommendation.
