A few years ago, I built an entire cross member with relocation mount for my car. I have access to a large metal fab shop, so that helped haha. Mine looks nearly identical to the UMI offering. I have pictures I could dig up.

As far as me using my existing crossmember could I just weld a plate on for the torque arm mount?

You need some fabrication and welding experience to accomplish this correctly

it has been done before, I remember seeing pics before. Mine was entirely scratch built, but in order for me to build it correctly, I needed to use a bunch of different equipment. It was worth my time in the end. But I test fitted it numerous times as I was building to ensure I didn't screw anything up.

Okay I agree this may turn into a winter project and I'm sure this will have to go on and off the car several times to make it right
