Default spinning t56 without drive shaft to diagnose vibration?

2002 ss, after new front ball joints, bushings, koni shocks, and new cooper rs3g1 tires I have a bad vibe at 65 mph and above. Vibration was present before but it's worse now. I suspect I might have the 5 6 gear problem, would removing drive shaft and throttling up to 60..70 mph on the speedo be a worthwhile endeavor before I go have someone else rebalance wheels?

I feel like even if u did have the gear problem doin this won't tell u much. I feel like the drives haft amplifies the vibes and makes the problems more noticeable, so if u pulled it and ur vibes stop, u would think that the problem is somewhere else. When in reality, those vibes won't be transfered through the trans, clutch, and motor the same as it does a nice hollow driveshaft. If u do decide, assuming u know this, put a bucket under ur tails haft for all ur trans fluid to go into.
