SP4000 Hub Adapter kits ready to go, available with and without hubs

Sorry to bring back from dead
Do these lower rolling resistance? I’m replacing the hubs on my car because I noticed how hard they are to turn by hand compared to many other cars and would like to get lower resistance hubs.

I I was actually spinning mine over yesterday and they're certainly not as hard to turn as old worn stock ones. If the stock ones kind of feel a little gravelly and you can hear them as you turn them then they're not in great shape. Whether they're actually stock or some aftermarket replacement. But if the bearings you have are in good shape then know these are not going to lower rolling resistance that's not their point.

I recently installed these on my '01 T/A, and thought I would add some info to this thread. I weighed my stock hub and compared it to the new hub/adapter/bolts, and it added right under 2# per side. Not bad, considering the adapter is steel.
As for reusing the stock hub bolts to mount it to the spindle, I don't see how that was possible. The holes were almost exactly the same length as the bolt, but there was obviously some hand tapping of the holes, because all of them were around 1/8" from the bottom. One was definitely over that. Luckily I had a bottom tap the right size and just ran it down all the way. I still ground off the ends of all bolts to make sure they clamped without bottoming.
I also made sure to fab a bracket to hold the speed sensor connector, because it was really close to the spinning part of the hub, and would easily have rubbed on it without a bracket to hold the wires in place. Probably not a huge issue with most people buying this, because I imagine most have removed ABS anyway.

Me too. and I think most do. But if you don't, you could just cut the connectors off.

I have the adapters and just waiting for the trackers to show up in the mail now. In the instructions it said to remove the plastic wire holder on the hubs before putting on the adapters. Does that mean to remove the entire white plastic part off the back of the hub? Will that expose the bearings by change? Or are they sealed by something else? Thanx.

Not the plastic cap. Just the plastic retainer that holds the ABS wire from flopping around when in shipping. Which is white. The actual cap on the back of the bearing is not, it is also not removable.
