Default Washer needed for Bilstein install?

Hello, I'm currently deployed, giving me millions of hours to research my suspension upgrades that will be waiting on me when I get home. My dust boots and bumpstops are degraded beyond what I'd like, so I'm looking into new junk. I see people recommending the. "Moog K90462 Strut Bellows"
Does anyone have a picture with those on? They don't look like they'd fit well. The old boot has a washer on top that it's mounted to. Is finding a washer necessary when doing the replacement with the junky moog boots? Thanks in advance.

I don't even have dust boots on mine. So far nothing terrible has happened, but the worst the car has seen is rain. But my old 98 saw everything from rain to snow, had no boots, and it didn't seem to hurt it either.

I'm sure they serve a purpose, but, I had no boots to put on so I didn't.

Awesome, thanks for your input. Did you put any kind of large washer where the factory boot would have rested? just underneath the threads on that lip?

Buy Koni STR.T's shocks/struts. They come with boots and the "washer" you're referring to I think.

Odd the Bilsteins don't, the ones i've bought came with them
