Default LS1 Fbody Wilwood Narrow 6 Piston Fitment

Does anybody actually have the 140-9833 Wilwood Narrow 6 piston brake kit on there 98-2002 Trans Am with the OEM earlier style WS6 wheels. I have posted a pic so there is no confusion. Yes, I know Wilwood has a chart but I would like some first hand experience from those who have installed these. If you needed to use a spacer, how thick? Any pictures?

Yes they fit, but you need your weights on the outside. Stick ons behind the spoke will hit the caliper. I have photos somewhere. I use the WS6 wheels for winter storage and they do fit. Your wheel bearings better be perfect too. Only about 1/8" or less clear of the spoke.

Rampant, thank you for the information. The picture link is not working...

I assume a 1/8 spacer between the wheel and the hub would give me plenty of extra clearance? I do plan on replacing the hubs with Stranos X-tracker set up.

I also wounder if "low profile" weights would work on the inside. They are .12" (3mm) thick. That is a hear under 2 penny's.
