Default Reason for clunking/ clicking sounds

I have an annoying rattle/clunk coming from the rear. It seems to stop when I apply the brakes. It's most noticeable at slow speeds. Any ideas what to look for? I have looked the suspension and brakes over and over. I can't find anything. I'm starting to think it might be axle related.

Caliper bolt grommets worn. Also, I had the bolts come loose holding the parking brake backing plates to the axle tube.

From the front I had a weird clink that was loose sway bar bracket bolts. And also was getting a cracked sway bar bracket.

There is a TSB about that for earlier cars. Were they black bolts by chance?

Its the Torsen carrier, common noise. Nothing to worry about. Look up "rocks in a box" noise. Its just the internal gearing unloading as you slow down.
