triple poly combo questions

Default triple poly combo questions

wanting to swap out my torque arm bushing and trans mount , I upgraded the motor mounts to poly when I did my cam swap, wanted to know if it be a problem to run all three mounts poly? I searched but couldn't find a thread on a triple combo on poly motor mounts , poly trans mount, and poly torque arm bushing, car is a 02 m6 on bone stock suspension with factory bushings ... thanks guys

You shouldn't have any problems, as far as I know the only thing you don't want to do is run all 3 solid mounts.

^ this is correct. No problems using all Poly. Its when you start mixing in solid mounts that the issues begin.

I've had the best performance with the softer stock trans mount along with poly motor mounts and poly tourqe arm bushing. This setup will be a noticable improvement over stock and still works fine with stock or better yet with upgraded control arms and panhard rod bushings
I just got a lot of added vibration from the poly trans mount. I'm an A4 though so results will vary depending on the setup

this is my setup also......i had poly trans mount but went back to stock rubber.......and if you are going to use stock rubber be sure to go gm/acdelco

I had poly in the motor mounts, transmission mount and torque arm bushing in my former, street driven '96 Z/28, for a number of years, with no issues.
