Default Rearend clunk

I have a 2000 Formula that has a pretty rowdy knock in the back. If I hit a bump it sounds like the whole rear end is literally about to fall out of the car. I need some insight on that. Anybody know what’s going on?

Too vague a question to be able to answer, could be many things under there. You need to get under there and look for loose parts/bolts and interference(one part hitting another).

I have adjustable rear-control arms and pan hard bar. All are locktited in place and aren't loose. Ive gone over everything in the rear end checking for loose bolts. I installed new oem decarbon and oem factory springs it helped for a while but after I put about 350-400 miles on those shocks and springs the clunking came back.

Get underneath and have a few friends push up and down. On a bump, shocks compress to a shorter state and exhaust could be hitting something. Torque arm loose ? Gas tank shield ? E-brake cables routing brackets ?

what type of bushings do the control arms and panhard bar have? if they have rod ends there's your answer, if poly then you should be able to rule them out unless the bolts are loose of course. only way to tell is like firstyr said get under the car with weight on rear axle and look for anything loose or any interference.

I was thinking it was in the suspension as well because I've replaced axle seals along with shocks and springs and like I said the noise went away for about 400 miles and now its back. Thanks!
