Default Torque arm install

I'm trying to get the torque arm back in my 95 firebird manual trans the bushing has been replaced it has a performance name on it but it is so tight the tip won't go back in is there a bolt at the top that can be loosened to slide it back in then tighten the bolt back up to secure it inside the bushing?

The bushing is held with a clam shell. There is a bolt on the top and a slot with a hook thing on the bottom. You will need to loosen the bolt to get the torque arm back in the bushing. It is a pain to get that top bolt back in straight, FYI.

Yeah I can confirm that bolt was a pita but it's still very doable

Thanks everyone I was able to do it on my 91 I got it started in and kicked the back of the torque arm until it went in but I was a lot younger and the arm at least started into the bushing maybe worn out lol. This one on this car is fresh it looks brand new and way too tight and after aging more and working 58 hours a week there's no way it's going in without some help.
