Default Springs

What is the recommended springs to use on a 1996 Chevy Camaro z28. I got it and it is super low and I was wondering what other people thought and if you can leave a link that would be greatly appreciated.

not sure there is a "recommended" spring per say, but i know that there are a lot of guys on here running either Strano lowering springs or BMR lowering springs. i don't have any experience with either since i went straight to coilovers but there are tons of threads with pictures on here so do a search. I'd be interested to see what spring is on your car now to make it super low, probably a set of old saggy hotchkis i would guess

The UMI 2061 is pretty popular.

Also, it's important to ask how you're using your car as that can influence spring choice. The UMI 2061 excels at crisp corner carving/handling along with daily driving and auto-x. The rear springs work pretty nice for drag racing if you subscribe to the increased spring rate theory. The fronts aren't really a drag race oriented rate...

Sam just sent me a set of his springs.... Still in the box waiting to be installed... Can't wait. My 96Z28 1LE already has the Koni Yellows... Should be very nice once installed.
