Default lost my alignment today

got the car tuned, drove it after to get aligned, drove it the 40 miles home. today i take it out to work on my brake bias cause i think my bleeding is pretty good. do about 6-7 stops where i lock up my front wheels or rear wheels, then the 8th one right when the fronts lock i get a huge bang and i pull over. everything is intact. i drive around this parking lot noticing my wheel is 30 degrees off and im pulling right. luckily a monroe was able to get me in and i drove the 5 miles pissing everyone off behind me. the bolts on both my front lower arms, the ones for the horizontal bushing were moved. you could see the marks from where they used to be due to fresh paint on the stock k member. the one completely went from one end to the slot to the complete other end, and the other moved about 1/8". you cant get new bolts there but i did use new gm nuts which are available. idk maybe the stockers are just stretched.....monroe said they felt tight when removed. i had a conversation awhile ago with umi and remember him saying that some guys who road course and struggle to hold alignment with sticky tires put tack welds on the nuts and bolts. so i had the shop use a torque wrench and torque them to 95 pounds and put a few tacks on it. thought you guys would like to know lol.......

btw im running umi lowers and stock k frame

Did you align it or did a shop previously align it?

a shop did it previously, 40 miles ago. they were a helpful shop so i kinda just let it go. i did talk to them about it and they seemed upset and said i could bring the car back for realignment but im 40 miles from them

yea but i think about it positively, im leaving with it thursday to go 150 miles away where i will most likely beat on it to and from. glad it happened now and not then, and that nothing broke. that bang sounded like something breaking for sure

Why I really like the UMI k-members with the locking tabs. Now with saying that I had to have a race shop do my alignment ($$$) due to most chain stores scratching their heads a little. But with the locking tabs and the rod end of the a-arms no way the alignment can move unless something really bad happens.
