We offer red and gloss black and can also do bare. If bare is needed, it's better to order early since many of our sub assemblies are powder coated as part of the process.

Ramey,
Thanks for the info. I do appreciate it. It's great that you people help others out by selling bare if someone requests.
Red powder is cheap, and urethane bushings are usually red or black.
All powder is relatively the same cost in my experience as a Powder Coater. I can order pretty much any color, out of 6,500 from one site alone, and a LB of whatever is basically the same cost. I think they did the Red because it was for it to stand out honestly. I think the time where people want it to stand out has passed for the most part but they saw that and offered hammer tone.
Most DIY folks don't have the oven space for suspension part beyond A-arms etc. I use a home wall oven for small parts and I have a custom 6' x 3' oven for bigger stuff.
We offer both colors as an option and at one time even offered up silver. Silver never took off and neither did hammertone when we did a short run of it. However we can do bare and any custom color a customer may want. Custom colors do cost more and add a little bit of a time frame as it is not sprayed in our normal facility.
Personally silver and red are a killer combination.

Wish I could afford a big oven like that. Some (including Eastwood) have suggested heat lamps for bigger items. Takes longer, you have to heat in sections and the lamp I saw was like $750-$800. Although, I’m sure a custom oven like yours is way more than that. I just bought a gun (on the way), but am just going to look into a plain ole electric home oven for now. I barely have room for that. LOL! But I know a toaster oven will be too small too.

Yeah, I oversimplified that statement... I meant mirror red is cheap. As opposed to a flashy red chrome or candy red, which would more readily show imperfections. I buy powders ranging from $6/lb (mirror red) to $35/lb (purple starlight), so I don't completely agree that all powders are the same for price. However, yes, I oversimplified in saying red is cheap.
Looks like MWC verified my speculation, red and black are popular choices for universal applications. Looks nice, MWC!
