Default Tq arms short or long

How it going. Just wanted to get some opinions on what tq arm to upgrade to. I currently have a umi long tq arm and suspension and i want to switch all my suspension out to midwest chassis since i rarely drive it on the street and all its all spherical bearings. My question on the tq arm is what would i benefit more from a long tq arm or short. My car ran a best of 9.7 with a best 60ft of 1.35. My current problem is i pull the wheels everytime. I have strange single adj shocks up front with vikings in the back. I will be adding some travel limiters as well.

I would be more than happy to discuss things with you. Email me at the shop and we can go over a few things to steer you in the right direction.

If you're drag racing, short. If you're road racing/autocrossing, then long.

That is a good reference for some however not entirely true for all combinations. Some drag race applications could be better served using a long arm.

I'm always interested in learning. Would love further explanation if you wouldn't mind. Otherwise I'll just wait till I call you about a rear end for my 97, which could be a while.
