Motor mounts
engine only seems raised due to worn out rubber
I got my Spohn's in 2008 I believe, not sure if they changed anything since then. I went from the Spohn's to the stock pedestals and UMI solids when I made the measurements so they technically should be the same height.

UMI's.
Comparison of the height difference on a bench.I didn't take a picture of the other mounts but I believe the difference was even more.
Not exactly the most scientific test but the pictures make it pretty clear. I never noticed how much it raised the engine until I worked on a stock Trans Am and I could immediately tell the engine was further from the cowl.
Again; not bashing Spohn at all, I have quite a few of their parts on my car, in fact the pictures of the mounts installed on their site are of my car. I'm just not sure why they insist on telling people they don't raise the engine when they clearly do. I don't run either of these mounts now, I should measure to see if the Hooker's changed anything.
my kooks headers and Y fit great with my setup........the TSP headers and Y fit like crap with negative clearance

OP; sorry if this somewhat hijacked your thread. Hopefully it can help you decide which set of mounts to get.
