The only problem with a bias and even with a drag radial is if you street drive with them they do kill the life. The bias ply tends to hate the multiple heat cycles more than a radial. Height you want as much sidewall as possible so a 28" would be better for traction but it also depends on your gearing. As for brand M/T is always a popular choice for about any performance tire.

It is dependent on what the vehicle does with its current tire height. If you are leaving RPM on the table then yes you could go to a shorter tire to compensate. However shorter sidewall equals less traction, or more difficult to get traction in some cases.

There is many different ways to go. You can do full C/O or C/O front smooth body rear. It also depends if you need T-Bar front make sure you choose a T-bar lower front option.
