Default Which Springs & Shocks

I'm looking to do some more work on my 98 Camaro, I'm gonna be doing a bigger motor and a twin-turbo setup. The car will see some track time very rare though do want the "lowered" as the stock height is not appealing. I know Viking makes some stuff what are some other recommendations?

Does track time mean drag strip or autocross? Highly recommend reaching out to Sam Strano no matter what.

He came off of coilovers. Double adjustables in fact. Ironically off of spring rates that are supposed to be handling rates. And if it was as simple as what people think it is that would be one thing. But it's clearly not because the rates he had are actually the same rates that my springs are that he just put on.

I think he's going to add some more commentary although I'm not sure where it might be on some of the various Facebook pages, maybe he'll chime in here I don't even know if he's a member here.

But here, I will be very blunt. I don't care what person you talk to, I don't care what vendor you talk to. I have more options than any of them have probably ever tried, and I have more options than any other place you're going to find can sell. I can pretty much guarantee that. Because I buy from pretty well every company and major warehouse there is. And I sell the parts at extremely competitive prices. You can go to the really big online places and they're not going to be any cheaper than I am. In fact I'm off in a little better price than they are. Plus I even carry things they don't, while carrying everything that they do.

I know how the cars work, I know what to do with them, I've proven it time and time again, I'm not going to talk you into something because I can't offer you some other option. I'm not going to show you something, just because I can. If I sow you something it's going to be because it works. Because doing that means you should be happy with the result, kind of like the gentleman who posted up above who pretty much immediately recommended me. By the way I greatly appreciate that, thank you. not only that I own the place so if somebody is not happy guess who gets yelled at? Yeah me, and I hate that and I have better things to do than to be fighting with somebody on the phone. So frankly if somebody is doing something really nutty and doesn't want to listen at all, not that they have to do exactly what I tell them but if they're going to give some completely off the rails way I'm going to let them know. If they don't want to do that that's fine I've been known to tell people that I'm probably not the guy to sell them the parts. I can let somebody else deal with the aftermath of that disaster.

So if you want some help, I'm pretty sure I can assist you. :-)

A lot of times people want coilovers because they think it's magic setup but the main thing is just dialing in the exact ride height. Strano springs and Koni yellows is STILL the best setup for these cars for general performance. That's pretty much what I have and I run down faster cars on the track all the time and people are always surprised my old f body can pass their Vette, Boss, Gt350, etc and it's not radically modified. And still has great street manners.
