Default How to tell if I got 1LE stuff on my SS?

Is there a code on the door that tells meif Igot the 1LE stuff already? I was thinking the SS gets the upgrade from SLP when it gets the other stuff.

If it was built before 11/99, it will have much of the suspension (springs, front swap bar, rear LCA's, & PHB, but not the Koni's). That is what all '96-'99 SS came with. Teh 1LE option was not offered on any 2000 cars, and SS built 11/99 and later have the base Z28 suspenion with the 1LE front bar as the only suspension "mod" from SLP.

It was built 10/99. It has the orange shocks but the PHB looks normal to me. I was hoping it had the bigger rear swaybar.

All '94 - '00 V8 F-bodies, including 1LE, got the same 19mm rear sway bar. Your car should have 1LE springs, LCA's (only difference is solid vs. windowed rubber bushings), PHB (higher durometer rubber buhsing), and front sway bar.

Orange shocks are not Koni's. 1le should read on option code on driver door.

Orange shocks are stock Decarbons.

Just send an email to SLP with your VIN and they can tell you everything.

The problem with the door codes is that water seems to wear off the ink they used to print them. Anymore, mine looks like a plain white sticker.
