02 Camaro Vert UMI Springs

Was looking through some threads but could not find anything about UMI Springs. So I have a question, what is the stock spring rates on the 02 camaro? Will the UMI springs not only lower, but stiffen up the ride? Have you guys found that lowering springs help with handling or is it all about stance? Appreciate the feedback
