Instant center issues?
So a few weeks ago I posted about problems with my adjustable torque arm. When I installed it, I was having bucking/jerking issues while driving the car. It wasn't consistent, and only happened while under load, off the gas and coasting or decelerating it wasn't an issue at all.
I'm curious if anyone could verify if this is potentially an instant center issue? Like basically I'm getting horrible wheel-hop at all times? I was looking at the UMI crossmember and comparing it to the factory torque arm mount, and noticed that the bolt holes I have the mount in right now (which are the 2nd up from the bottom) puts the torque arm a little lower than what factory was. It looks more like 2nd from the top would put the nose of the arm at factory spec.
Just wondering if someone can confirm this (or if I'm just grasping at straws). Would like to solve this issue without having to get the car in the air 100 times.
Thanks all!

The geometry of the front pivot point height does not make a difference, it just helps to move around to clear exhaust and to help with pinion adjustment.
I would check that every nut and bolt is really tight and if the front joint slides smoothly and no bind anywhere. Was the TA and mount the only change?

I only wondered about the instant center since I'm lowered pretty far and haven't put lca relo brackets in yet, and thought it might have pushed things to their limit.

Since you are lowered a lot maybe the bump stops are hitting on hard acceleration making suspension do weird things, also torque are could be hitting the tunnel in the rear.
