Default Straight vs web style subframe connectors

I have decided that I want subframe connectors. My car does have t-tops. Is there a great difference in chassis stiffness between the simple straight ones and the webbed ones that go to the tranny crossmember??

Thanks!!

You mean the double diamond style? Yes they make the chassis stiffer. Can you notice it? dunno...but they interfere with more aftermarket stuff like certain exhausts and torque arm setups.

If you're just driving around, you will never notice the difference. But if you like to push your car right up to the limit on corners, the stiffer SFC's may save you from dimpling the rear quarter pannels. You will also find the car easier to control close to the limits.

the more "triangles" you have the stronger it will be..
now, as far as whether or not you can "feel" the difference
i guess we need an engineer for that!
fwiw, i'm a big fan of my kbdd subs. i've been told they don't
interfere with headers.. i'll know shortly about that......

Do the kbdd hang down as much as the slp sfc? I would like the double diamond set up, but don't want the clearance issues I've heard about on the slp's. thanks
