Default Brake parts 4th gen F body

Completing a brake job - on a 2001 SS Camaro, need to locate the rear brake backing plates, this Camaro has been driven in winter and time and chems have rusted the plates bad. I have checked a lot of web sites for the part, none of the sites seem to stock this part,
So is it still possible to find this in usable condition from a savage-junk yard location? Any ideas are appreciated

Try car-parts.com. You can search the rust free areas of the states.

They are a popular part because people need them when ordering a new rear end. (The plates need to be supplied before th part is made/assembled.) So, we have had a shortage of these for years.

They are sold here on this site from time to time by our tenured members with full access to the Marketplace section of this site.

Once you have the plates, do you have a plan for getting them on? Are you prepared for removing the axles?

When I did my rear end swap I bought mine off of ebay. They do pop up there pretty regularly, so even if there aren't any on there right now, I'd setup a recurring search that sends you a notification once there's a new listing.
