Default Front upper shock isolators -- anyone have a source?

I'm looking for a pair of these:

They go between the upper control arm mount bracket and the shock tower. They seem symmetrical to me, but GM has separate part numbers for LH (22112177) and RH (22112178).

I've spent most of a day searching for a place to buy these. Tons of listings, but everyone is out of stock. The GM part is discontinued of course.

Note: I've seen lots of threads with confusion between these two, so I'm going to be very specific. I'm not looking for GM part number #17999212, which looks similar but is larger (shown here top and bottom). The Moog K6573 and the Monroe 903933 are these, which again is not what I'm looking for.

That one fits inside the top of the upper shock mount, shown here:

The upper shock mount bolts through the upper control arm mount bracket and the strut tower itself, and the part I'm looking for nestles into the top side of the mount bracket. In this particular photo, the part I'm looking for is in place; GM originally sold this whole upper control arm + bracket assembly as a set. GM part numbers were 22156459 (LH) and 22156460 (RH), Delphi were TC6043 (LH) and TC6067 (RH). Interestingly, the factory parts manual doesn't even have the individual part numbers I gave earlier (which are clearly printed on the actual parts).

As an alternative: does anyone know if a set of replacement brackets such as UMI's 2336 would require reuse of the isolator, or if they include an appropriate insert, or if I'd have to swap mine over?

You would think! I couldn’t find them there. If you have better luck, I’d love a link.

I’ve confirmed with UMI that their #2336 upper control arm bracket does not require the rubber piece, so my plan is to grab a pair of those.

I have a set in my garage toolbox lol as I went with MWC upper brackets which did not require the rubber and decided to keep them just in case. I was not able to find any either early on

Are the ones you have now in really bad shape? I did the struts and mounts on one of my cars a couple months back. The OE pieces looked pretty bad at first. But they actually cleaned up almost like new.

They’re pretty bad. Not as bad as the upper shock mounts, which are actively disintegrating, but it’s much easier to find replacements for those.

I’m trying to refresh as much as I can while the suspension is apart, since I use the car for HPDE. These were bad enough that I thought they warranted replacement.

No worries though, I ordered a new set of brackets from UMI.

They sell the complete upper control arm with bracket, and it includes this piece. But it's used, and judging by their photo, their typical stock is in similar shape to mine.

Same. My car hasn't had them for over a decade. My old car didn't have them for a few years either. Never had any weird noises from being without.

You might be able to replace that bushing with a sway bar bushing.
