Default LCA relocation brackets help

I have an 02 trans an ws6 it has a moser 12 bolt rear end and is also lowered. I was putting the lca relocation brackets on today and ran into the weld on the axle shaft being in the way. I am assuming i can grind down where i marked on the

bracket for fit, i was taking it to get welded anyway, but wanted to be sure as ill have to drive the car to the shop where i can weld the brackets. Obviously im not taking that much off, just going to do a light grind until solid fit, i want to avoid removing as much steel around the bolt as possible.i dont see any other options just want some solid advice to see if im going in the right direction.

What lca bracket is this? Is there a lip on the inside that sets the bracket angle (instead of having a bracket that mounts with the shock)?

I think you'll be ok, but there won't be much material left at the front of the bolt hole, just using it to hold the bracket in place. You'll just run a beed around the top of the bracket.

Default Lca bracket

Yes it has a lip on the inside that sets the angle, i had to remove the shock attachment as it does not line up with the moser setup, i called founders performance where i got the relocation brackets and they confirmed this, im looking at loosing about 1/8 of an inch of material to get them seated correctly.
