Default Another Fays Watts Link thread

I finally got it in ...I bought it long ago as something to install and its one of those things you find yourself yrs later finally installing it......my son did most of the installing...under my supervision .....he questioned me on the need for it....its to expensive and I have a perfectly good panhard bar ( not a stock one mind you )
The install is time consuming but not hard...for a good video on installation check out ...3rd Gen Guy ...on u tube...I set the adjuster on the middle adjustment as per the instructions
my son took the first test drive....he came back with a big smile and said it was a night and day difference from the panhard bar....he called it a must have item
I took my drive....the rear is soooo solid now...drives like a slot car...I got the Fays as my son wants to autocross ...but as for a DD street car it is very well mannered

If you can afford it...try it out is all I have to say

I absolutely loved mine. I had to remove it and go back to a panhard bar setup when I installed my 4 inch exhaust.

the notch I made for my magna flow exhaust was more than enough...I am sure my notch plus the new adjustable exhaust hanger would do the trick for a 4 in pipe

I have a umi watts link, but to fit the 4” exhaust better, I used 2 of these back to back to squeeze thru.

I did ask Jim Fays about the exhaust clearance....wonder if he will change the frame to accommodate bigger tubes

the adjustable hanger did give me about 1/2 inch of play

Looks good, maybe some day I’ll order the UMI version and give it a try. Looks like your son did a good job with the installation.
