I have had 2 diffrent sets of aftermarket springs now paired with bilstein shocks. The first was umi springs and while they handled well the car sat really low. I scraped just about everywhere and that was with stock exhaust manifolds. Next I got the sam strano springs. These handled as good possibly even better than the umi springs and didnt sit nearly as low. I really liked them for awhile. Fast forward to me adding 1 7/8 longtubes and a driveshaft loop / torque arm relocation and the strano springs are too low for my liking. I scraped up the cross member that holds the loop and tourque arm on just getting in my garage. I'm looking into an alternatives now It's looking like factory springs or aftermarket coil overs are my next option. I live in WV with some rough rds if I lived somewhere where the roads were not as bad it might be OK.

i have strano springs and bilsteins for the last 15 years , i just upgraded to koni yellow adjustable and kept the same strano springs and its much nicer. I love how the car feels in corners now . It isnt too low, i dont know who steves1911 has issues but strano and bmr springs will be the same height and they are not low at all. I never scrape , 275 40 17 front and 315 35 17 rear so stock diameter with a Midwest chassis fabricated 9 inch , cross memeber mounted tq arm , with se 1 7/8 headers and their true duals . i wish it sat lower but then its hard to get the lift arms under the slp subframe connectors . but strano sits really nice and is functional .

This is how mine sits currently. Pic was from this morning after a short trip to get a good data log. The umi crossmeber is what scrapes for me. You can see the garage entrance in pic. It's an incline leading into it but not that bad . Factory 10 bolt umi torque arm relocation with driveshaft loop. 275 40 17 on all 4 corners. Handles awesome

Sam Strano can get custom rate springs on the Ridetech coilovers that allow for custom ride height.

Thumbs down

I would leave the vehicle stock height, when you lower it, besides the scraping part mentioned, you are changing the geometry of the vehicle, first thing that comes to mind is an incorrect pinion angle, and personally I don"t like the looks at all, to me it looks ghetto.
