C5 Upgrade: Rear rotor/caliper, front bolts (not in search)>>
Couldn't find any real clear answers in the search mode of this site. Final questions for brake upgrade:
Fronts Using C5 caliper and rotor:
1) Do I use stock F-Body Hardware, bolts, etc?
2) Do I use F-Body pads, or can I use C5's safely?
Rears:
1) Can I use C5 rotors with stock F-bod calipers?
1a) if yes to 1, can I use C5 pads as well?
2) Can I use C5 caliper and rotor?
2a) Any hardware needed, special bolts (C5), pads etc?
2b) Can I use C5 pads?
Everything I read, and after talking to LG, Front Caliper and Rotor can be C5. Must use F-body pad on front though. For the rears, cannot fit the C5 caliper and rotor. Should keep as stock, and use f-body pads.
Can someone please help answer some of these questions. I have the bracket on order, and SS lines, need to know what else I should get.
Thanks!!!

Personally, if I was upgrading to the Corvette brakes, this is what I would use:
Front:
Corvette calipers, caliper relocation brackets, Corvette rotors, and Corvette pads. The caliper relocation brackets should come with new bolts, reuse the other F-body bolts.
Rear:
Leave it stock....the Corvette rear brakes are nearly identical to the F-body setup.

The C5's pad shape will interfere with the abutment bracket, I believe. The F-Body pad has more of an arc ...

does everything else sound correct above?
