All you with LT's and lowered
I was just wondering what springs you guys are running and if you are having ground clearance issues. Im having problems with the stock ride height but i will be getting the y-pipe remade to accomidate a lower car. I just havent decided what springs to use or how low to go so any input will help.

I had Hotchkis springs on my T/A and Jet Hot Lt's. The Y-pipe had some clearance problems at times. The Y hung lower than others though.
We have Eibach Pro Kit on the SS, and it lowered it about an inch. Has plenty of room for Lt's.

The Grotts tuck up pretty well. If you don't use cats and use a frame clearance piece (like the ones Dr Gas builds) behind the driver's side collector, you should be fine with anything up to a 1.5" drop. Anything more than that and I would be wary.

Do a search on this, it's been covered at length in the past. Most people that have tried more than one header design say QTP's, Kooks, and Grott's tuck up close. SLP's hang the lowest. But getting the Y-pipe off the pavement is always the hardest part, or the duals if you use them. I modified the floor pan of my car to get them as high as possible. I'm lowered 2 inchs and have QTP's and a 4" cat back with no clearance problems.
