Question brake fluid that won't break down???

does anyone know where i can get brake fluid thats thicker or won't break down so easily? its actually for my clutch but they use the same kinda fluid so maybe some corner carver/endurance racers will know of something thats better. i can't find anyplace that sell DOT 2 or is there something else i can do? would wilwood DOT 3 be better than normal ole stuff?

thank you,
mike

I suppose that for a clutch,,, you wouldn't really have to worry about heat,,,,, just the brake fluids ability to absorb water.

The only brake fluid that I've heard of that is noted for that might be Castrol SRF. Be prepared for sticker shock though. At least you would only need a liter of the stuff though.

Anyone else have any thoughts? How is hydroscopity {spelling} measured?

after about 3rd gear, the clutch is REALLY soft and sometimes it won't go into 4th at the track.... have a stage 4 clutch, Mccloed adjustable master, and 01-02 slave. also have the drill mod done to the line

FWIW, I use the same ATE Superblue in the clutch that I use for the brakes - it meets DOT 3 specs. Good stuff IMO and price is very reasonable.

Castrol SRF. Have your wallet ready for that stuff though.

Mine did the same thing, then it let go, then I got a new spec stage 4, and now im powershifing like its no tomarro. Try bleeding the clutch some more. Run a whole bottle of fluid through it. Theyre hard to work with.
