Default Question on Manual Rack & Pinion

My main goal is to drop weight. I currently am not using power steering and never plan on using it again. Would it be beneficial for me to get a Manual rack & Pinion?

Also, I am getting Strange racing brakes. Do I need the Manual brake kit or the ABS delete block or both? (I don't want ABS anymore) What's the difference between the two?

Yes- not only will it save you even more weight, it will also make it a little easier to steer w/out PS.

Hey that's good to hear. Any opinions on which manual rack to go with? I have the BMR K-Member and A-Arms, will that matter? Also, I have only received one quote so far and it was around $650!

how about a manual rack with "lower" caster settings compared to a PS rack with +5.5 degrees caster?

I would LIKE to get rid of the PS on my car (already got rid of ABS and will soon drop the power booster) but the question is will I still be able to turn at anything under 80mph?
