pro fab k member problem

Default pro fab k member problem

where did all of yall put your brake lines cause this shop wont let the car out unless it has a bracket for it....what did yall do?

zip tie them to the k-member. That's the way they're done on all the tubular k-members for our cars.

well i called pro fab and they said the same thing and i told that shop and they said no cause the vibration or somethin just lettin the brake line hang there could bust or some **** but anyways they said they cant let the car leave the shop without the brackets so now pro fab is makin me brackets.....they said pro fab must be losin alot of customers cause lettin the brake line just hang there is dangerous and if it busts i could kill myself or others around me...

my car woulda been done today if they woulda just zip tied the brake lines on there....its been there for 2 months cause someone wrekced into me...

Dang that's the pits... About somebody running into you, and the car sitting so long too.

But that is pretty cool that pro fab is making some brackets for you!

yeh that guy didnt even have insurance...it wouldnt of took so long if i woudlnt of ordered a hood from vfn.....got a 4" ws6 hood took 4 and half weeks but it was worth the wait (Y) ill have pics up by friday hopefully

How long has everyone had theres zip tied on there?
I guess ill just have a clean setup

I zip tied mine when I did the LS1 swap in July/August... BMR, but same concept, as far as the brake lines go. I did keep those pieces where the metal lines turn into rubber lines, those bolted on to the k-member. Everything else is zip tied, with the line shielded by the k-member wherever possible.
