How slight of a jerk, and how big of a bump are you hitting? Is the steering wheel also jerking or is it staying still?

Bump steer has more of an effect at higher speeds, say, above 60. If it is a stock, or slightly lowered F Car, bumpsteer should not be an issue.

no, my car is lowered and it is at higher speeds like 60 or above.......and yes, the steering wheel also jerks in the opposite direction of the body movement...

for example, if im on the highway and im going let say above 60, i hit a bump in the road or an uneven patch or whatever while turn to my right, the stering wheel will shift suddenly to the right will the car skips to the left. its quite unnerving.makes the car feel unstable

I noticed a slight improvement when i had the bump steer kit on my car when hitting a good bump at higher speeds.

However, the rod ends on the kit wore out within a year. You can buy replacement spehrical ends, but that gets pricey quickly. I called Baer and notified them of the problem, and they pretty much said that was expected on a street car. On a race car, they said they should be expected to be replaced every few races. I just went back to stock rod ends.

Not sure who else sells a Bump Steer Kit. I dont see one on BMRs website as suggested above??

The ones i had were made by baer, same people who to the brake systems. Im sure any vendor dealing with baer could get them, rksport has them listed on their website (doesnt say baer, but thats what they are)

Bump steer kit will not fix the problem you are describing. It definitely sounds like you have some serious issues that need to be addressed. Since you are asking , that means you are unsure.

Either way

1st check you all your suspension and steering components by aqualified shop if you feel not qualified to do it.

next check your alignment and then have your bumpsteer angle measured.
At least from there you have a direction to go.

Check your Toe, youll want zero for a street car maybe a smidge, less than a 1/6th out if anything, and make sure camber is not more than, say, 1/2 of a degree negative.
