Well, as long as you realize that you will probably be spending $2000+ on this setup, go for it. You will be able to drop it and raise it up as much as you'd like...that is why you get a setup like this (well, that and you get top notch stuff if you are going with G2).

Personally, I did a Ground Control setup on mine (with Bilsteins), and I really like it. Not as expensive, but not nearly as nice as what you're looking at, but gets the job done for me. FWIW, my car is dropped about 1.5" all around (at least I think).

It seems like most people are happy with the Ground Control coil overs, and the price is good: about $450. The problem is working with the company. You can order them through Sam Strano and let him deal with them though. They use Eibach ERS springs which you can order in any length or spring rate (stiffness.) You can drop the car as far as you want with these, but I wouldn't go more than two inches or you will be on the bumpstops most of the time.

I haave this setup. You can raise or lower it to any height that you desire.

On that note, I'd like to add something. I went through Sam Strano to get my Ground Controls, and I am very glad that I did. They had problems getting my stuff to me in a timely manner, and it was because Ground Control likes to take their sweet *** time. Sam (and his wife) were not happy with them, and were talking to me about finding another setup that would be comparable so they could stop dealing with them.

Either way, I'm happy with mine. They work quite well. Granted, my rear springs didn't come painted, and I didn't have the foresight to get them painted, so now they are all rusted, but oh well. That will be fixed soon enough.

I think mine is lowered 1.5" (I didn't really do a before measurement, but it was sitting HIGH), and I've hit the bumpstops a few times on the interstate. Otherwise, it has been fine. I'll be raising it back up a bit for a drive to Chicago.

Along that line, I've sourced the parts to make my own setup for the 4th gen. Price is $459 because I have to go through different routes and multiple vendors to get everything I need, but it's become worth it because of GC's stubborness. It's a shame, the parts are nice, but I have a very hard time dealing with the ongoing issues.

So, in other words, very soon (finishing my first set next week), I'll have "my own" coil-over sleeves. Nothing radical or frankly different. Just something I can control.

Are those gonna be nicely anodized like the GCs? I need to talk to you about my rear springs too...if I remember right, they aren't that much just for rears. I'd kinda like to have some paint on them though...I'll be sending you a PM shortly.

Remains to be seen. They are Koni parts, and sometimes they are red, sometimes black.

Rear springs are $55 each. They do come painted, but that's why they get rusty, it's just paint. The fronts are powdercoated. No reason you can't shoot the rears with something like undercoating, hammerite paint which is awesome....
