Hell, I might order a set or 2 to put on MY shelf.

Then all those who come back after January 1st, crying the blues because they missed out, I can gouge and make a few dollars mod money.

You know, I was thinking the same thing....I could keep them and just wait for people that are begging for them later....and make some money. Wouldn't be real ethical, but why not?

I wanted a set but I ordered a set of BMR springs back in september. I might just order a set and put the BMRs up for sale.

is there any benefit using the G2's versus the GC 500/150 kit i already have on the car? LMK i dont know if i want to purchase these if i am ok w/ the set up i have now.

I was planning on going for the coilovers this spring, but this is too good of a deal to pass up IMO. Now I can save a couple bucks toward a new ZO6

The Ground Control coil over kit is an awesome kit. I wouldn't think you would gain anything by changing.

There are some annoyances ... like having to slow down for railroad crossings, angling across speed bumps, dodging pot holes ... but that is a small price to pay and probably should be done anyway to save the car's suspension, whether it is modified or stock.
I see, so the ride/cost ratio should be considered closely before making a purchase decision? Unfortunately I have to hold off getting these springs at this time. Though this may be a good way to build a suspension for future goals, not immediate compatibility.

I was wondering what that implies, does this mean they will be discontinued either way after Jan 30th?

After them being out of stock for over a year, I would say probably so. There just aren't that many F-Bods left that want this kind of modification. And those that are around, the market share for LG vs everyone else is so small, the resources it takes to buy and warehouse parts doesn't justify the return on investment. Why spend X amount of dollars on springs that will sit on the shelf for months and month when you can spend the money on making headers for C6 and/or GTO?

If you think you might EVER want the best spring out there for an F-Body, you should probably go for it right now

I can't answer that ... I've never had Hotchkis springs on my car.

Well, I wanted to go in on some G2s but the work I just had done set me back $300 more than expected and it looks like I may have to replace my O2 sensor(s) as well.

Maybe after X-Mas if this is still an option...

G2 vs H&R? Mitch I know you have seen a few of my posts touting how good H&R are as a spring, what are your feeling about this comparison? Trackbird and you seem to very much on the same page about quite a few things.

The H&R springs are, according to trackbird, stiffer than the G2s.

I ahve been looking at the H&Rs pretty closely for my race car project.

I think they are the greatest thing since sliced bread, but just wanted to see if breaking out from my norm would be a good thing.

Not on this one, my Z which is not with me has it and the other two 4th Gens had them as well. I was running SCCA in SoCal a few years back and that's where I found out about them and fell in love with them. This is my 4th, 4th Gen since 95, three 94's and this 00. I bought this one brand new Nov 9, 2000 after the 4L60E took a dump in the Z. Rather than fixing one problem I just created another by getting another car payment.

Where can we find out more about these H&R springs?

So Mitch in your opinion the G2 springs are almost the same as Eibachs, but you won't run into sag problems, and the rears sit a tad bit higher than Eibachs correct?

I am trying to decide on a spring to go with my bilstein shocks
