Default Shocks?

I have a 2000 SS that I'm fixing to put goldline springs and relocation brackets on. My question is how many of you guys have lowered your cars and kept the stock shocks on? Not worried about handling I'm just going for the lowered look.

Shocks are very important when lowering. The ride will be total crap without proper shocks to damp the higher spring rates and lower height.

Not familiar with the Goldlines, but Bilstein HDs are usually the bare minimum recommendation.

What shocks should I get after I lower my car? Goldline springs are going on my 2000 SS and was wondering what shocks could be used with these without droping it anymore. Also don't want an adjustable shock! Don't take curves fast at all and don't road race either. Just looking for a shock that will not squeak or leak over time.

My recommendation would be revalved Bilstein HDs from Sam Strano. www.stranoparts.com

They will be custom valved to your particluar application and will be awesome.
