would it be a better setup to buy the 3rd generation konis in the back as oppossed to the 4th generation?? Why, whats the difference?

The 3rd gen rears are not not better or worse, but different. The idea is to offer another option that lowers the price, but still gives you a rebound adjustment and the benefits of a mono-tube shock (which the 3rd gen Sports are) vs. a twin-tube (which is the type the 4th gen rears are).

We do a lot of both actually, which would be more to your needs would have to be discussed in person. Too many variable to work with on-line IMHO. Also somethings need explained to have everything make sense enough for a wise decision.
