Default shaking steering wheel...

OK....im concerned about this....when i am traveling at mostly any speed and then hit the brakes my steering wheel begins to shake/rattle...what do u guys think is my problem? Thanks for your help.

what causes the rotors to be "warped?"

Getting very hot can cause it, not torquing the wheels is a common cause as well.

Definitely warped rotors....f-body curse. You should replace them and make sure that you always tighten the lugnuts in proper sequence to 100 ft-lbs.

Agreed, Also make sure you clean off the rust on the back of the rotor and the hub!!

Yeah!!!!!!!!! Get the old rotors turned and drive like a grandma and you'll never have this warping problem again. Stock F-body rotors=

you could have also been braking hard a few times then hit a puddle of water
