Since you are lowered you probably want a tranny mount ta. You get what you pay for, and Spohn is the best imo. I stay away from anything with the letters "BMR". You will not hear about a Spohn part failing, but you could write a book on the posts about BMR problems. Spohn is a sponsor ------->

ok thats cool, i pmed you back. do i lose ground clearance with a chasis mount? why would that be better than a tranny mount?

Chassis mount eliminates the pressure on the rear of the tranny tail shaft which tends to fail when you start nearing the 500hp range. It's just a much stronger set up.

Ground clearance is not an issue. I have this on mine and I'm lowered on Eibach Prokits. It's no lower than a set of LT headers and y-pipe which I see you already have.

You'd be much better off with the chassis mount.

What brand do you have? Any pics? My car is slammed and I know the Spohn chassis mount would have no chance of clearing, but I will want to get rid of my tranny mount Spohn when my 427 goes in.

I just ran out and measured. My chassis mounted Spohn TA (for long tubes) has about 3/4" more ground clearance than my y-pipe at it's lowest point and my Y is catted which is even lower than an ORY.
