Default Understanding Adjustments to Panhard

On my 92 Camaro I have the Lakewood Adjustable Panhard bar. I added it because I moved to 17x9 wheels in the rear. Now I hva a slight rub when the suspension moves up and down. The rub is the tire hitting the inner lip of the fender. I am not sure how to measure to get the correct alignment for the adjustment. I think it is small. Lakewood was very little help except to confuse me more.

Lakewood Said:
Measure from the inner fender well to the center of the tread of the tire on the left and right sides. Then add the two distances together. Then divide that number by 2. This will give you the measurement for each end of the bar to hook up to the car. At least it will get you close. Measurements should be taken before vehicles are lowered. Thank you.

What is meant by the "measurement for each end of the bar to hook up to the car"?
