they are the high quality pads that NAPA sells. Semi-metalic. $65
they squeek all the time, and yes i have a fair amount of knowledge in replacing pads, so i saved the $$ there.

Im pretty sure they all got re-installed, but i'll check on them again, jsut to make 100% sure.
I was instructed not to use ceramic pads with drilled/slotted rotors.

Some pads (usually the ones that bite hard) do squeak and dust... my friend has some Hawk's on his M3 and those things squeak a lot and dust a ton. But high performance pads will do that...

Just some thoughts...
Did you bed the pads?
Were the rotors new? If so, did you clean them with brake cleaner before installing?
If they're not new, they should be turned or at least sanded to properly bed to your pads since I assume they're a different compund. I've read that most places won't turn a drilled rotor, so that may be an issue too.
Once the brakes get heated, does it go away?
Have you considered just opening your cutout?

Haha, i can still hear it over the cutout. Yes, they still squeek when they get hot.
I may just go ahead and have my rotors turned, or atleast try. If no one will im screwed.

1. live with the noise and hope it goes away
2. get new rotors or pads
3. try some of the compound you put on the rotor to quiet them
I do not think you will be able to turn the rotor and if you found someone to do it you would end out with a bad rotor(s).

My pads squeal occassionally. Believe it or not, I bought a $3 bottle of anti-squeal crap on my local auto parts store and the stuff has worked for 2 months now. Buy a bottle of the spray, and next time you have your wheels off, give the rotors a good coating (don't forget the other side of the rotor).
*shrug* For $3 and 30 minutes of work, it certainly is worth a try right?

I was thinking you could get some of that blue gummy spray and coat the back of your pads to prevent squeels.
