Default Panhard bar?

I'm fixing to get the on car adjustable panhard bar. My question is how do I know if my rear is centered when I put it on (how do I get it exactly right?) What do I need to measure to get it straight?

With the vehicle's weight supported by the suspension (i.e. not on jackstands), drop a plumbob from the side of the body at the top of one fender arch and measure to a reference point on the wheel. Repeat on the other side ensuring that you match reference points on the body and the wheel as closely as possible with the other side.

Now, make note of which side is the smallest measurement - the axle will be biased to that side. Loosen the PHR jam nuts and twist the PHR body (its basicallt a big turnbuckle) to adjust its length. Retake measurements and compare. Continue this process until your difference is close to zero. Once you're happy with the result, tighten up your jamnuts (Loctite is a good idea), and you're good to go.
