Default Car Shuddering During Acceleration

Last weekend I rotated my tires for the first time since I got my car. I moved the fronts to the back and back to the front. I had a bitch of a time getting the lug nuts off. It was obvious that someone had put the lug nuts back on with an impact wrench. I feared that the threads had been stripped since I bent the lug wrench that came with my car trying to get the lug nuts off. Since rotating my tires, the front end of my car shakes during hard acceleration, then kind of calms down when I level it out...I'm home for lunch today and decided to check the lug nuts again to make sure they were tight...they're still just as tight as when I put them back on. I did notice a small groove in my front right brake disc though, and I'm wondering if this could cause the car to shudder...I didn't take a close look at the pads or anything when I had the wheels off the other day, but I think it may be time to get new ones...What could possibly be causing my car to do this????
